It's their second time winning a LAN event since MaxLAn 2009. We faced dRu in the finals just as we did in Coupe de France and beat them easily with a score of 9-1. The team won themself €1.200 cash, €279 deposit at MondialServers.com, €190 from winning the Coupe de France LAN final, a complete QPAD package with mousepads for the whole team as well as six headsets sponsored by Steel-Series. Pictures of the team will follow soon. And you can also expect after-LAN statements from several team members. Congratulations to the team!

Therefore the team around squadleader Vanargand saved themself 190 Euros and with a good position in the running lantournament they are eager to win more. 18.45 CET: rockit.DoDs made it into the Finals where they will meet dRu.DoDs again after already beating them in the Coupe de France Final.
17.16 CET: I just got another message from akiR0 and he said that the final is scheduled for 18.30 CET but no new information about our opponent!
16.59 CET: mysTix won against Nitrose with 10:8. Now they are waiting in the semi final for their next opponent (either dRu or WT Fock?!)
16.09 CET: Unfortunately the official Anjougame website is not up2date and the eSport France site is behind the schedule. I was able to gather some information from akiR0 himself and he just told me that rockit.DOD:S is qualified for the final and just waiting for their opponent!
15.36 CET: The amateur tournament is coming to it`s end. Just 4 teams are left and the coming hour will hopefully bring us an amateur tournament winner!
14.59 CET: The groupmatches are over and with winning every single match rockit.DOD:S is performing as expected and waiting for their first real challange in the pro tournament division.

What I've been talking about is an exclusive rockit wallpaper for our players at LAN and for your personal desktop at home if you like. Of course its red as well (how could it be any different) and it is filled with our lovely rockit logo as well as our very own partners below. Have a look at it and feel free to use it. Our DoD:S team will be having that wallpaper on their LAN PC's as well, so everybody can identify them.

Between Friday the 12th and Sunday the 14th of March, France's finest day of defeat source teams will go head to head in what looks to be an action packed weekend in Angers, France for the Anjougame LAN. As announced on several eSports websites, our Day of Defeat source team is moving to Angers with their full line-up this upcoming weekend. Read on for more information regarding the team, the tournament itself and the map pool that will be used at Anjougame.

A total of 40 teams will be entering the tournament, split up into 8 groups of 5 teams each played played in a 2 * 20min format. (1map) The top 2 of each group advance to a pro-tournament and the 3 others in the amateur one.

Amateur Tournament :
The teams who finished in positions 3, 4 and 5 for the first group stage will be dispatch in 6 groups of 4 teams played in a 2 * 20min format. Then the first 4 will be qualified of the 6 groups for semi finals, the difference will be made by fullcap average.

Pro Tournament :
A second pool phase containing 4 groups of 4 teams played in 4 * 15min. (2map)
The winner of each pool advance to the semifinals, followed by the grand finale on stage.

With four skilled players in the playoffs anything can happen and Clover would have to work hard to continue his run of podium finishes in the Ladder Wars competitions.

Unfortunately Clover went down to eSkill*greasy in the semi finals but picked himself straight back up in the third place playoff game against dignitas/Apollo who he beat 2-0 with his opponent leaving partway through the second map. The final standings for the Playoffs were:

The Crossfire Intel Challenge 7, being the greatest ET LAN tournament ever held, has just come to an end with our players coming second after Team Dignitas winning gold. The event has entered new levels this time as more than 400 competitive gamers went there to play for more than 15.000€ in hardware and cash prizes. Around 1.500 viewers on ETTV combined with two completely full video streams are numbers that no one expected to be seen at the beginning. Also the spectator numbers on stage have improved and several hundred people have enjoyed a phenomenous tournament.

Nevertheless none of the players have to be sad as they not only played awesome on their own but also made the community cheering for them due to their passion for the game and just being how they are - a great bunch of guys.
